One of the very first products I was introduced to, after my decision to get serious about network marketing, was Darlene Hull's (of mom-defrazzler.com fame) e-book - The All New Lean, Mean Marketing Machine: Finally Success for the Newbie and the Frustrated. I had seen her earlier version of the book, when it was called A Successful Home Business for Moms that introduced the subject and then offered an e-course. I signed up and liked what I saw but did not want to jump into it until I saw where it was going. She would send out one lesson a week and it was a six-month course. Of course, I was glad to see the e-book come out.
It takes focus and dedication to make it through the book which is actually very simple to understand and implement. You have to do the work, though. I am always amazed at how people seem to think someone is going to wave a magic wand and make _____ appear magically. (You fill in the blank - money, love, good health ...). There is no elixir that will make it suddenly appear. You have to do the work. People like Darlene, though, do make it so much easier because we do not have to reinvent the wheel and they are willing to share their hard-earned knowledge.
The book shows you how to plot your course and then takes you through the steps of setting up the tools you'll need to build your business. Toolbars, viral marketing sites and list builders, among other services, are along the path she leads you. It will assist you in learning the ropes sufficiently enough to gain confidence and direction in this cyberspace challenge.
If followed diligently, the process will get you up on the net and moving within network marketing circles rather quickly. The money-making aspect of the book is getting others to follow the path behind you. The virtual marketing aspect of the book is that you can get it re-branded with your links and information. It's a product that keeps on giving.
