I have really been making progress with my online writing jobs that I was able to access through my membership with the site I shared with you a while back.
I have been able to sell a couple of articles to a few online places such as Associated Content. You can see the ones I wrote for them on the widget to the right. I can't remember which one was which now, but AC had to review one of the articles and I got paid a day or two later. The other one paid right away.
I also investigated writing for blogs and had listed with a couple of places that pay. Generally the rate is between fifteen and twenty cents for a 25 word or more listing with a minimum usually of 25 posts with five of them being new threads. Doesn't seem like a lot of money but when you consider that you only spend a few minutes on each post (unless you have to do a little research,) it can add up.
I found, though, that writing articles gives a lot more return for my energy and I don't have to prolong the assignment over a month's time as you have to do with the blogs so I think I'm going to stick with the articles.
